In summer, the Dolomites unfold their vibrant beauty and invite families into a deeper experience of nature. The mountains create space, the landscape restores our energy, and time spent together becomes a collection of moments to cherish. Through sowing and harvesting in our Culinary Garden, encounters with animals on the farm, gentle hikes, and family-friendly e-bike tours, nature can be experienced with all the senses. A shared alpine lunch at the foot of the Dolomites, creative moments with natural materials, and refreshing hours by mountain streams or our natural swimming pond connect enjoyment and the simple joy of being.

On sunny days from July to September, families are invited to experience the beauty of the UNESCO Dolomites at our Kalkofen Mountain Hut. Together with farmer Hans, children set off by tractor into the mountains, where a day close to nature awaits. Between playful discoveries, a traditional alpine lunch with freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn, and the sounds of local music, families experience the simple pleasures of mountain life. A gentle hike or family e-bike tour through the Dolomites completes this special day of nature, tradition, and togetherness.
Gentle e-bike tours offer families a special way to explore the Dolomites together, following their own natural rhythm. Through blooming alpine meadows, quiet forests, and towards traditional mountain huts, every path invites us to experience the landscape with awareness and pause along the way to enjoy local specialities. High-quality equipment for the whole family is available directly at the resort, including e-bikes for adults and children from 8 years, child trailers, and helmets.
Family hikes at the foot of the majestic Dolomites and across the wide-open landscapes of the Lüsen alpine pastures invite meaningful moments surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Würzjoch is a wonderful destination for families wishing to discover the Dolomites on gentle, well-marked paths. The trail leads through flowering alpine meadows and quiet forests, opening up beautiful views of the surrounding peaks along the way. A special moment awaits at the Fornella Hut, where families can pause and enjoy traditional alpine specialities together.
The Lüsen-Rodenecker alpine pastures offer the perfect setting for gentle family walks through a peaceful mountain landscape. Along the way, the Kreuzwiesenalm Hut invites families to slow down, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and share a moment of simple alpine hospitality.
In summer, Plose becomes a natural playground for families. Gentle trails lead through fragrant alpine meadows and reveal ever-changing views of the surrounding mountains. After a relaxed walk, the Rossalm Hut offers a welcoming place to pause and enjoy local mountain flavours.
